Windows app guide
This guide is based on verification of candidate 0.9.16. Check the release page before installing; a candidate is not automatically a public release.

The Lantern of Wrenford has five chapters, choices and an ending. It uses no AI model and needs no API key. The complete story has been played through in the installed Windows candidate.
Save and resume
Export your campaign as a backup and your chronicle as text. Export to an actual file, reloading and importing have been verified in the installed candidate. Keep a separate copy before updating.
Account and data choices
Open Settings for your account and model measurement data choices. Withdrawing contribution stops it locally even while offline. The local stop and the server confirmation are shown separately. Tests also cover switching between accounts.
The Windows tests used simulated account responses. An actual subscription purchase and real model runs were not part of those tests.
Other features and verification
The candidate also contains strategy advisors, Decision Duel, chess, Songs of Bards and experimental modes. AI House is tested separately in a private tester build and is not part of this release. A feature being present in the code does not mean its external services or game integrations are verified in your environment.
Some modes require account access and your own model configuration. Check access, cost and connection in the app before starting one of those modes.
